Family Therapy with Colleen Perry, MFT
Nurturing connection, healing relationships, and growing together
Every family has its own rhythm, history, and unique way of relating. But even the strongest families can find themselves facing seasons of tension, misunderstanding, or disconnection. Whether you're navigating a major life change or stuck in familiar patterns of conflict, family therapy offers a compassionate space to pause, listen, and begin healing together.
As a family therapist, I view the family as a living system—each person brings their own voice, emotions, and experiences, and each one plays an important role in the dynamic. When something feels off or painful, it often affects everyone. Our work together will gently explore how communication, roles, expectations, and emotions are showing up in your family life, and how we can move toward greater understanding and connection.
In our sessions, I’ll guide your family through meaningful conversations—helping each member feel heard, valued, and supported. We’ll practice healthier ways of relating, work through stuck points, and uncover the strengths that already exist within your family, even if they’ve been hard to see lately.
Family therapy can support you through a wide range of challenges, including:
- Communication struggles
- Parenting conflicts or co-parenting after separation
- Sibling tension or rivalry
- Life transitions (divorce, blended families, relocation, illness, loss)
- Mental health concerns or behavioral issues affecting one or more members
- Rebuilding trust after hurt or disconnection
You don’t have to go through these challenges alone—or try to hold everything together on your own. In family therapy, you’ll find a safe, non-judgmental space to grow stronger together, one conversation at a time. Healing is possible, and I’m here to help your family find its way back to connection, compassion, and hope.
