Family Therapy with Colleen Perry, MFT
Because every family deserves support, connection, and healing.

Every family has its own story. At times, that story includes moments of struggle—periods when communication breaks down, tensions rise, or the connection between family members feels strained or even lost. Whether your family is facing a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck in recurring conflict, family therapy can offer a path forward.

You may be here because:

  • Your family is navigating a significant loss or life transition
  • A loved one is struggling with substance use or mental health concerns
  • Co-parenting, discipline, or differing parenting styles are causing tension
  • Your teen is showing signs of emotional distress or behavioral challenges
  • Sibling conflict is creating ongoing stress in the home
  • You feel unheard, misunderstood, or unsure how to help your child or partner

These challenges can feel isolating—but you’re not alone. Family therapy is a supportive space where each person’s voice matters. Together, we’ll work to uncover what’s beneath the surface, open up communication, and build bridges of understanding.

In our sessions, I’ll guide your family in learning how to:

  • Communicate with clarity, respect, and empathy
  • Understand one another’s perspectives and emotional needs
  • De-escalate conflict in healthy and respectful ways
  • Establish shared boundaries, routines, and expectations
  • Strengthen the relationships that matter most

I view families as living systems—what affects one person can ripple through everyone. That’s why therapy focuses not just on fixing a single problem, but on nurturing the emotional health of the entire family unit.

Family therapy may stand on its own or be combined with individual therapy as part of a more holistic healing process. And while every family is unique, many begin to notice meaningful shifts in understanding and connection within a relatively short time.

If your family is feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, please know that support is available—and that healing is possible. I’m here to help guide you through it, with care, collaboration, and compassion.
